Changes related to autonomic activity

The high-frequency component of heart rate variability, calculated from an ECG. It is interpreted in relation to parasympathetic activity, and is also influenced by breathing and measurement conditions.

MELATONIN

A signal of sleep rhythm

A hormone associated with the body's nighttime circadian rhythm. The research measured salivary melatonin at specific times.

A self-reported Insomnia Severity Index. A lower score means participants report less difficulty with sleep.

Exploring autonomic changes, before and after use.

A study examining changes related to autonomic activity before and after use, through the HF ratio derived from ECG. AMO Lab's public materials present a comparison of the active device and a sham device before and after 2 hours, alongside HF changes over 72 hours.

The trend value rose from 13.90% before use to 37.35% at day 3. A separate chart reports a 3-day average of 35.57%, approximately 2.6 times the baseline value.

Looking at heart rate variability and brainwaves together.

ECG and EEG were compared after use of the active device and a sham device. The public materials report increased HF ratios in both general participants and participants with insomnia symptoms, and increased frontal alpha power ratios in participants with insomnia symptoms. Sleep rhythm, and the sleep difficulties people actually feel.

The sleep research at Kyung Hee University Medical Center in South Korea examined melatonin and ISI. Melatonin is a biomarker related to sleep rhythm, while ISI assesses the sleep difficulties participants experience. In the results of a 30-day sleep program published by AMO Lab, the mean ISI score decreased from 15.7 to 8.15 at day 14.

Should I use the necklace or the clip?

Choose whichever feels comfortable for your clothing and activity. Adjust the necklace length, or attach the clip to a collar or opening, so the device sits near your upper chest.

Do I need the app and a smartphone?

The core features work with the device alone. Connect to AMOS APP optionally when you want more detailed settings and usage history. Audio tracks and headphones are not required.

Is there a monthly subscription fee?

There is no required subscription fee to use the device and basic AMOS APP features.

How long is each session?

The default standalone session is 3 hours, after which the device switches off automatically. In AMOS APP, you can set session duration and continuous operation. Follow the product guide for recommended session lengths and frequency for each mode.

Do I need to wear it while I sleep?

A routine for better sleep can begin as you unwind before bed. Follow the user guide on whether and how to wear the device during sleep.

When might I notice a change?

The degree and timing of changes may vary with your physical condition and lifestyle. Based on the experiences customers have shared so far, most report noticing positive changes within 30 days of use.

Is it working if I don't feel stimulation?

Check power, mode, and session status using the device's status indicator and AMOS APP. Feeling strong stimulation is not the measure of whether it is working.

How long does the battery last, and how long does charging take?

It is designed for 20+ hours of standalone use or 13+ hours with the app on a full charge. USB-C charging takes approximately 1.5 hours. Actual times may vary depending on settings and conditions of use.

Does AMOS APP measure sleep or stress?

AMOS APP manages modes, session duration, and usage history. It does not automatically measure sleep, stress, or HRV.

Where can I download AMOS APP?

AMOS APP supports both Android and iOS. Download instructions and a connection guide will be provided with AMOFIT S Pro launch information. The device's core features work without the app.

Can more than one person use it?

One device is designed to be shared by multiple people. By registering separate accounts in AMOS APP, each person can manage their usage history separately, without mixing records.

Were the featured studies conducted with AMOFIT S Pro?

The completed human studies examined the previous-generation AMO+ and its underlying technology: two KRISS studies and one melatonin and ISI study at Kyung Hee University Medical Center in South Korea. The two academic papers let you explore the research methods and findings.

Are results available from the U.S. university study?

This ongoing study with North Carolina A&T State University uses AMOFIT S Pro. IRB protocol HS26-0026 has an approval period of April 27, 2026 to April 26, 2027. The study involves 46 participants (30 Active ยท 16 Sham) and examines cardiometabolic health, stress resilience and gut microbiome composition. Results have not yet been published.

Will there be benefits for previous backers?

We're preparing an AMOFIT ALUMNI reward for 2022 AMOFIT S Indiegogo backers. Eligibility checks and participation details will be announced when the campaign opens.

What are the shipping, return, and warranty terms?

At campaign launch, we'll announce reward prices along with estimated delivery schedules, shipping countries, shipping fees, taxes and duties, return and warranty periods, and applicable conditions.

Can it replace medical treatment?

No. AMOFIT S Pro supports everyday wellness and does not replace diagnosis or treatment. If you are undergoing treatment or have questions about your health, consult a healthcare professional.

What should I do if there is a problem with the product or app?

Stop using it, check the product guide, and contact support@amo-lab.com. Sharing the connection status, charging status, and a description of the issue will help us assist you.

Before use

Do not use if you have an implanted electronic medical device such as a pacemaker, are pregnant, or have epilepsy or a seizure disorder. Do not use near strong magnetic fields, such as MRI equipment.

Keep out of reach of children. If you have other health conditions or implants, consult a healthcare professional and check the restrictions in the product guide before use.

Charging and storage

Charge using the supplied USB-C cable and follow the product guide. Do not charge when wet, immerse in water, or disassemble the device yourself.

Stop using it if you experience discomfort. Contact customer support if you have a device, connection, or charging issue.
